Being a native of Maine, I know what it is like to have snow, sleet, freezing rain, cold and just about any incliment weather there is to offer most of the twelve month of the years. Maine is lucky to have one or two months of warm and sometimes hot weather.

In 1997 we left Maine to move to Florida's warmer weather. We were there until April of 2000, when we decided to move about half way back to Virginia to be closer to family. Hoping that they would be able to visit us instead of the other way around. Didn't happen.

But, my youngest daughter and family did move to Virginia and lived with us for five years, then moved back to Maine. It was very hard to have our two grandchildren move from our household. Especially, when the youngest was born living with us. Now she is going to have her fourth child in 2010.

Now, we are in North Carolina still alone and no visitors (hardly). We are looking forward to retirement as we will be returning to Maine to be near all the family. It hasn't been a great state to live in for the past few years. A lot has happened and some not good. I nearly died in July 2008 and continue to recover. It is frustrating how slowly our bodies rally when we get older.

I realized recently that God has given me a wonderful gift to create. This gift is seen in my sewing, crafting and photography just to mention a few areas. I have a wonderful and loving husband. He has gone through testing of the strongest degree recently. God has blessed beyond material riches.

Sewing, crafting, photography site. one of my online stores Artfire are just a few of my hobbies. Computer and being online is loved way to much!
