I'm blessed with great kids, great friends, great family + a wonderful house I was able to buy on my own on my not-great-but-decent income. Frugal living can be fabulous in one of the most expensive (yet coolest) places to live. If it can be done here, it can be done anywhere!

Welcome to hubpages! I was a San Francisco suburban mom myself for seven years. Was married then, but a single mom of two in Oklahoma during the nineties. I see your "frugal living" tag...bet you have many of those techniques perfected! I'm in SoCal now...both parts pretty fantastic compared to other parts of USA.
