Karin has a BS degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University. She is a former reporter and still works in the communications field in public relations. She is married with two small children. Karin has spent several years working with young people through a non-profit she and her sisters founded, Sisters Empowering Women, Inc. They assist young girls with everything from school work to social issues. As a former communications instructor, she understands the educational system and what a youngster needs to do to be successful.
