I am a hopeless romantic who loves language, communication, and writing of all kinds. I'm a big proponent of living life purposefully and passionately, holding traditionally meaningful values, and defending worthy ideals and beliefs above all. I have a great affinity for philosophy, theology, poetry, and literature, and dabble everywhere in between. I also have a keen interest in developing board games, card games, and role-playing games, so I do a lot that involves creating whatever I need to make those things work. I spent some time in the military, and I've been in grad school studying theology for the past couple of years, so you'll see some of my thoughts and research posted here from time to time with regard to that. I have a life-long love affair with music, and have been singing classically and operatically for the past 15 years - that influences how I think about everything. I appreciate both mind and art, reason and beauty, and much of what I do is reflected in that. My ultimate goal is to serve God with all that I am; along the way, I enjoy delighting in those pleasures with which this life is endowed, and sharing them with others where I may.. which you see here.
