My urge to write has finally overcome my fears. I own a company and am a marketing and salesperson, a businesswoman. I never saw this career as my final destiny when I was studying in college, but economic enticement finds me here. Before this, I taught ESL (part-time, no benefits) at the community college level and loved it. Still, underneath it all bubbled this desire to express myself in the written word. I love literature and gobble it up like candy. My favorite writers? Charles Dickens, Wallace Stegner, Amy Tan, Isabel Allende, Annie Proulx, Michael Chabon, Toni Morrison. I love poetry too and have written some. I have a novel in the works, meaning boxes of research and scattered pages of text.
