I was responsible for Video downloads for management & law enforcement agencies. I was also responsible for the upgrade & installation of the current Digital Video Recording Systems & maintain proactive repairs of all Digital Video Recording systems & cameras.I was also responsible for troubleshooting & repairing ATMS voice & data radios to system levels on buses. I was also responsible for maintaining Front, Side & Rear Destination signs, Public Address system, system level GPS locating system, Automatic People Earlier the organization used GE Master II Mobile radios. I was also responsible for repairing both circuit component level & system level GE Master II Mobile radios. I was required to maintain an FCC General Radio Telephone Operator License. Towards the end of my employment, I was responsible for small crews of technicians to work effectively & close to management's expectations of progress or production. I worked at two locations. In Cedar Rapids, Iowa, I repaired United States Coast Guard Navigational & Mission Computers from component level to system levels. I was also responsible for troubleshooting & repairing Servo mechanisms, Radio monitors, & other equipment. In the Carson, California, I was responsible for repairing TCAS -1 (Traffic Collision Avoidance Microwave Systems) for airlines using automated test sets. I had to do extensive surface mount & thru hole soldering including RF troubleshooting & RF tuning on micro-strip circuitry. I needed a good understanding of schematics, Micro-strip circuitry, & Scattering Parameters, (i.e.: S11, S12, S21, S22 VSWR measurements).
