Susan Deveney, an Attorney-Mediator for more than 15 years, has mediated thousands of divorce and business cases and disputes. More than 96% of her cases are successfully mediated to conclusion, meaning that all issues which are in dispute are resolved to the satisfaction of the parties involved. Most of Susan's cases are referrals from satisfied clients and from her professional peers (attorneys familiar with the advantages of mediation over litigation.)
Susan has been a guest on national television programs, statewide television programming and talk radio. She has lectured and participated as a panel member in professional forums and she has been a "career day" guest lecturer in elementary and middle schools.
Outside of work, Susan stays involved in her community. She authored legislation for the funding and creation of a conflict resolution pilot program for children in Rhode Island, which was overwhelmingly passed. She spearheaded one project to offer free lead screening to children in her community and another project to build a badly-needed playground for children in another community.
