I was a teacher for 17 years, teaching Middle and High School students. I am an International Poet, published with poets from around the world. I have written a book on History, here in the United States since slavery and before, starting from Africa. I have (2) grown children and 4 grand children. I am active in the church and I teach Sunday School.  I am also active in Women's Ministery helping the homeless food programs, W.A.V.E. for children and adults, Angel Tree, whose parent in is prison, giving gifts at Christmas. I like the Ocean on the West Coast, and Flying. Cruise Ships are my favorite vacation spots. I have traveled through the U.S. I hope to go to England next summer. Rockford College has a campus in London. We have students who study abroad.  I studied music for 16 years, the violin, piano, and organ.  I attended Rockford College, but graduated from a large Sate University. I do not like cold weather. Except for the snow at Christmas!
