I was born a child but somehow became a man. I am still hunting down whoever is responsible for that.
I have met many wonderful women on my journey down the road. Some of them thought I was wonderful, too... at first. Then they left with all my things... except my dirty laundry. I am in awe of women.
I accept the passing of each today, embrace the birth of each tomorrow, and ponder the folly of my continuing expectation to find wisdom in nonsense. Now and then, when I have an exceptional thought, I lift my pen and write it down. I write very little.
I did many foolish things in my youth. Some of them taught me valuable lessons, some of them taught me only about foolish things. I still do foolish things.
Now I am here.

You're right on the birth thing, it's backwards. We should b born with the mind of a 60 year old and gradually work our way back to infancy by the time we die. We learn too soon old and too late smart. Nice to be your fan, I think.

You have talent...I'm still working on how to be a better write, you should write more (I have not read all of your hubs yet, but I do enjoy them) I just joined your fan club, if you like my hubs please join my fan club as well, I've been writing for only 2 months and already I'm 'hooked'....Appreciate your writing!
