Pete Maida on HubPages

I’m a story teller; that what’s I like to do.  I tell stories of present day life and love, humanity’s future in the stars, and of brave knights and evil wizards.

Pete Maida lives in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with his wife Cathy and his mother Ottavia.

He is the author of “The Long Journey Home”, published in August of 2001 by 1st Books Library and “500 Years From Home” published in 2003 by Lulu Press. Both books are available on Amazon and Yahoo Books.

He began writing in 1985.  Pete is a software engineer by trade and in 1985 he wrote a computer game called “Facing the Empire”.  Pete discovered that he enjoyed writing the short story that set up the game more than he enjoyed creating the game.

Since then Pete has created the space adventure series “The Solarian Defense Directorate” and the Novels, “Champions of Redland”, “Quest for the Golden Dove”, and “Riun”.  Pete has also moved into audio.  He now makes his stories available on audio CD or MP3 at www.rushhouradventures.com.

I should have my Geek Badge revoked! I didn't know my avatar's name until you told me! Thank you! I just found the art and artist (who deserves a hub which I will post shortly) in a search for "female warriors". I really enjoy your writing, Pete. Congratulations on hitting 100!

Got your message Pete. I checked the internet and have downloaded Homeworld from Lulu. Wow, you have written a lot of interesting things. After that, I'll be looking at the Rushhour Adventures. Thats my summer reading sorted. Thanks.
