Hello and welcome. I read your hub on trichotillomania, and I noticed some fascinating coincidences(?)
I'm one of those with self-diagnosed trichotillomania, although I don't even have the word itself memorized. My particular compulsion is also to pull out my eyelashes, and I also do it because some hairs seem to be "out of place" somehow.
I also love writing.
I'm also a grammar geek (inc. spelling), and plan to write a hub about it sometime soon.
I also have a really messy house. I just get too overwhelmed with the task and can't seem to get started.
As you know, I'm also a cat lover. My cat likes to sleep with his head propped up on various objects such as my remote control. Your avatar really grabbed my attention, as you can imagine.
I'll bet our personalities are similar in lots of other ways, too. Maybe we have some similar genes that give us all of these tendencies. I think it'd be fun to do some guessing games about each other's lives.
