Welcome to my profile page! 

I am new to the world of writing because the 20 years of experience in accounting is not the best place to polish your creativity (at least if you don't want to go jail).  I remember enjoying writing in school so I decided to try it again.  The first article wasn't too good, but with some wonderful advice of fellow hubbers I continued.  Over time I expanded my writing to cover various topics (some humorous and some serious).

In fact, I just published my first book called A Gift for a Mouse.  I'm so excited.  I'm hoping it will be the first in a series I'm planning. It was first published here and received really good comments.

I write for our church website at BCCER where you can find daily devotionals, updates on our church plant and ministries, and find some Bible studies that I've written.

My blog Discovering The World Around Me is where I note where I am learning in life and discovering that I still have a lot of growing to do.

Who needs to recover from something in their life?  Well, I know I do.  I have discovered that I am a co-dependant.  I'm working a 12-step program called Celebrate Recovery and I am sharing my progress at Recovery Celebration.

My family has even started their own blog that explores an imaginary world using definitions created by a child for real words.  It can be quite entertaining.  Check out Little Davy's Imaginary Dictionary.  My children are having so much fun working on this.
