How do Politics Mix with Style?
Very well, thank you. My interest in style and makeup sprung from my interest in art that I've had since I was a child. I truly believe that makeup is art, and style is really all about what pleases the eye. If I can't express my creativity in some way I feel suffocated and depressed and for a couple of years now, style and makeup has been my way ro get it out.
As for politics, that interest was, and is, fed from a deep need to have a mind of my own instead of lending others' and the (mayhap naïve) belief that I can make a difference. I keep in tune with the matters of my interest mostly through the internet though I have been, and still is at times, involved in different political organisations.
For those of you who wonders, this paragraphs were added because a few someones believe(d) that just because I like makeup and "girly stuff" I don't understand more serious matters.
Why do you write hubs?
I write hubs because I want to share what I know. I use the net every day to find out how to do stuff, what something costs, what people think about it etc. My hubs and the few articles every now and then is my way to give a little something back, and also to organize things for myself e.g. when I find a great tip about organizing jewellery so I add it in my jewellery organizing hub and then when I need it it's there in case I forgot it don't remember exactly how it was.
