I am a West Texan born and raised. Pecos, Texas, Home of the World's First Rodeo and Pecos sweet cantaloupes, was a great place to grow up in the 50's & 60's and I still have family there. I moved to San Angelo, Texas in 2001, If you have never been to San Angelo, Texas you really ought to come here when you are in the area because it is a great town.
Enough about where I grew up and now live. I have a varied background: drafted into the Army during Vietnam, went into the Air Force the day before induction into the Army. Never left Texas while in the Air Force. Worked for a linen company for 6 month, worked for two different railroads for 15 years. While working for these railroads I got a college degree in accounting, and was a Baptist preacher for 7 years. I then worked for an accountant for 3 years while getting my Certified Public Accountant's (CPA) license in 1993. Worked for the Town of Pecos City for 7+ years. I then worked for a radio station on an early morning talk show for 9 month, this was a fun job but the pay stunk. Finally, I went to work for myself at the end of 2001.
I contracted to other CPA's and assisted them with various audits. Late last year the main CPA I worked with lost some audits so I he no longer needed me, meaning I lost my main source of income. I had watched several CPA's and realized that they have almost no time for enjoying life. So I decided I had to find something else because I want to be able to travel with my wife and play golf when and where I want. I finally found the answer to my prayers when I found CarbonCopyPro
