Who is  Studio N ?

 

She is:

 an artist – who will paint anything that will stand still long enough.  While she works primarily in acrylics or watercolors on canvas or paper, she has been known to paint trays, mailboxes, egg shells (Ostrich, Emu, Rhea and Goose) and even toilet seats.  Photos of some of her work can be seen on her blog: http://giveyourwallssomesoul.ning.com/profile/NancyNuce  (Just click on “Albums” to see various items divided into categories.

 

a photographer -  who sells her photos on mini-tock sites and as notecards. (She plans to offer photos on canvas soon.)

 

a free-lance writer – who is new at writing for publication, but eager to learn and enthusiastic about getting started.

 

a volunteer – who is passionate about the need to give – not just money – but give of ourselves to those who are less fortunate.

 

a traveler – who has been to 47 states (including Hawaii – twice - but not Alaska), 6 Canadian provinces, 5 European countries, and most of the Caribbean islands at least once.   She hopes to travel to Australia and the South Pacific in the future.

 

She is also a wife, mother, grandmother, ex-hippie, ex-business owner, ex-fulltime RVer and currently part time retiree. 

 

Studio N has eclectic tastes – from community theater to NASCAR.

 

She has very little formal education beyond high school, but has spent her entire life learning.  She believes that when we stop learning, we die.

 

Her current favorite motto is:  “The slightest improvement on a daily basis creates massive results in the long term.”

 

Her ambition is to start a charitable foundation which addresses the problems of children who “age-out” of foster care with no place to go and no one to advise them.

 

Studio N   loves the beach and being on the water and hates bigots and cold weather.
