Welcome to my Hubpage! I'm blessed with a wonderful life, family, and friendships, okay health, and an ambitious desire to help others. I love to read and write. Both things, reading and writing, give me an amazing feeling. If I don't read or I don't write something everyday I feel out of sync. I appreciate comments and suggestions. I have a ton of stuff in my head! I've lived through some crazy years as a babyboomer. It is time to share some of that experience of mine with others.
This is a journey for me, though I would very much enjoy having company along the way to share it with. That brings me to Hubpages.
I hope to find ways to do here and in print what writers do for me when I read a great book, or find an interesting article. I love how it effects me, because that magic that takes place, that in which I get through words- that relationship with what I am reading, is something hard to actually explain, unless of course I am accompanied by like minds, and sharing similar loves for words. I believe it is that emotion that drives me to read more, and/or write more. It is the trials of a charactor, or a How to book/article or somthing in print about our world/our country, the many ways words can be linked up and strewn out, that keep my brain actively thirsting for more. It has the power to open me up to knowledge, and take me where I can only go via words.
From a cook book to a science fiction-the inner experience matters. You learn something- a skill- or you release all the worries of your mind as you take on some character reference that puts you right into the scene and mexmerized by it. Scare me, delight me, entertain me-- the reader cries. The writer holds out a hand and opens the door.
