Vaniteux is a salon concept owned and operated by Carol Kirby with in Stage Door Intl. Hair Designers, located in Houston, Tx.

I am a licensed cosmetologist based in Houston, Texas. I have been working in the industry for nearly 10 years. I have received training all over the United States, as well as London(Toni and Guy) and Paris (L'oreal Paris).
In 2004 I became Hair Police certified in Dread locks (synthetic and the real ones) and extensions.

I pride myself on my versatility. My clients range from artists to attorneys to housewives etc… My working style is much different than what you would expect from some one like me. I prefer to work with my client’s hair, not against it, creating the perfect cut and colour to fit them. Why blow dry anymore than you have to? No two of my clients look alike, every thing is detailed to fit the individual.

I believe in using the best quality products available, and have recently begun working with ALFAPARF Milano's "Evolution of the Colour" and their Semi Di Lino Diamante and Spledore di Fiori di Lino. I also use TiGi BEDHEAD, Catwalk and Pureology products.
