I have always enjoyed creating things. From oil paintings to working on houses, anything that I can design- and put some real effort into learning and bringing to fruition- has always been of interest.
After I had my four children, that yearning to learn and create translated into a desire to help my children succeed both educationally and creatively. I began selling Melissa and Doug toys as a way to bring quality educational toys into the home at a fraction of the cost, and to help other parents.
My online store, VarietyIsle, offers a number of great educational toys for small children. I am also enjoying writing about various activities and projects on my website.
