Having never really known what I truly wanted to do while growing up, I eventually got to the point where I tried to learn as much as I could about as much as I could. There is still so much yet that I need to learn.

I am a very proud alumnus of the University of Maryland. While there I variously majored in Physics, Radio/TV/Film, and Computer Science. My last semesters were naturally filled with classes in psychology. Amazingly, I graduated with a much more general degree than would be assumed with, you know, actually having majors. Armed with all of that pricey knowledge, I endeavored to put it to good use... as a sports photographer, then a writer, and now as an artist.

Writing and art have always been part of my life. They are simply things that I do. I have no formal training in either, and yet my works are often well regarded by professionals. All I know is that I do the best that I can, and if others like it, so much the better. I'm often surprised that people think I have something to teach, but when I am asked, I usually try to convey what little I do know.

In the end, I've learned that what I do matters not as much as the people that I've come to embrace as friends and family.

To find out what's going on in my life, and stuff that I blog that doesn't quite fit here, you can check out T I B (http://cjcs.com/tib)

Welcome to the hubs, and thx for responding to my request. It's easy to understand why people think you have something to teach them.

I look forward to reading more of your hubs! :)

Pleasure meeting you, cjcs. Writing about the creative fiction process is hard to do--so I'm really glad you can, and so well.
