I am a happily married empty nester and an Army wife of 30 years. Due to the deployment of my "baby" Alex - our only son, I'm an Army Mom as well. I am also Mom to two beautiful grown daughters Amber and Allie and recently, Gramma to little Kaylee Michele! My husband and I are very blessed indeed.

I am a writer and have been writing for decades - primarily as a regional publication  freelancer and newspaper reporter/columnist (we've moved 21 times and I've written in one form or another in most all of the places we've lived).

Currently, I am involved in two major projects: writing the second novel in a Christian series - but haven't had a book published...yet.

Above all - and the thing that defines my life most of all is -- I am a Christ Follower. I claim no specific "religion." I just claim Jesus as my Lord and Master and believe the entire Bible to be the inerrant Word of God. I try to serve Him as He wills that I do, every single day. I also believe one of the ways the Lord uses me is through writing. I am so thankful God has given me such a passion for it and am looking forward to reading the contributions of others on Hubpages.
