I am among the few genuine Georgia peaches residing in Atlanta. I’m proud to make that claim now; but, I was never able to enjoy my native Georgian status as a child. Once my Cuban/Jamaican grandparents moved into my tiny southern town, my purebred cover was totally blown and I was subject to a lifetime of being asked to verify my right to work in the United States.
I am a Psychology and Human Services major with a minor in English. I've recently converted to homebodyism but in my former life (pre-matrimonio) I was the well traveled girl about town. Now that I have seen the top of the hill and am picking up speed as I roll away from it, I fill my days with activities more suited for my geriatric state of mind, like researching random subjects and writing about them. My grammar and punctuation has been known to miss the mark, but I feel that my exuberance still translates well on paper and people are not mindnumbingly bored by my writing. That isn't much to cling to I suppose, but I cling nonetheless.
