About the moniker: the photo makes the blonde part obvious. The 'desert' is both dramatic and subtle, with unexpected surprises over each new horizon; I hope my writing offers the same.
My favorite roles in life are as the mother of two fantastic daughters and as wife to one darling, supportive hubby. Without my treasured trio, I can’t imagine how my life and spirit would have evolved.
I’ve lived in several cities and towns, which also affect my views, having seen so many variations there are on “normal life” in the USA.
May you find my columns entertaining, possibly enriching. At the very least, always putting a smile on your face.

I rarely join someones fan club as a result of joining mine without having read something they've written and liked it (I'll be back to check out your hubs when I have more time!) but reading your bio was enough in itself to make me a fan! Yep, I'm a native Californian. I've also been overseas for a few years. I've seen life from a lot of different angles, and I love making a difference in the lives of other people. One of the neat things about HubPages is how so many different types of people can all share who they are, their own unique flavors, and somehow it all comes together for everyone. You're obviously doing great, you're writing some intensely successful Hubs even with just starting out with the few you have so far. It's wonderful to see; always keep an eye out for other authors to team up with, because on the internet getting books written, published, and sold - for free! is so very easy.
