Before my Community Organizing work, I was a teacher. I experienced the pure laughter of elementary school kids, the starry-eyed questions of high school students and the angsts of college students.

At present, aside from working with the marginalized, I do freelance writing, conduct training in community organizing, play the guitar and a local instrument called bandurria.
