I have been retired for three years from teaching high school English. My lifelong interest in appliances has led me to do research and to visit many showrooms. I consider the time to buy a new washer or rangetop an opportunity! I know that not everyone shares my enthusiam for appliances, but many can benefit from what I know.
Although I had prostate cancer four years ago, I am now in better physical shape than I have ever been in my life thanks to exercise and losing weight. Besides the tasks of everyday life, I spend much time with my adult children, one of whom is mentally ill.
