As a world traveler I've seen both poverty and wealth on a scale beyond the imagination of most Westerners. Worked for both Australian and Canadian governments and served three wonderful years in the RCAF. Survived one of the coldest winters on the Canadian record, Jan. 1958 when it reached 51F below zero in Ottawa and the daily high was minus 20F for two weeks. That was my last Canadian winter before finally crossing the border into
the U.S. A.

I've been in love with this country ever since. I am a U.S. citizen married to a Texas rose, who is a native Houstonian. My family tree includes Scottish, Irish, and Spanish.

My Scottish heritage has prompted me to research ways to make the dollar go further by finding ways to save, also legitimate ways to add to income.

My all time greatest movie, "To Kill a Mockingbird."

My favorite actors, Sigourney Weaver & Nicholas Cage.

Favorite music is shared by Bluegrass Country and Baroque classical along with cool jazz.

I'm interested in natural health applications, and have spent 30+ years researching claims for high MPG systems applied to cars and trucks. Also I lean very much towards the Green lifestyle wherever possible.

Have a passionate interest in solar & wind power as alternative sources. Enjoy birdwatching in our little backyard sanctuary. A recovering member of Mensa and a REFORMED former atheist, I love discussing philosophy and theology.

Hi Jedgrey,

I've joined your fanclub bacause of your "Bogus headlines" hub. I always like hearing from people who write with authority because of their experience in a particular field. Makes a pleasant change from the hot air and bulldust spewed forth by people who haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
