As you can see from my photo I am a serious, concerned, no nonesense person of a certain age, who disillisioned with the 9-5 workplace in Britain sold up and move to Italy for a more tranquil pace of life, food and sun. Especially sun, although the food is good too..
I now make a living writing for websites, painting and teaching English as well as amusing the locals in the village by speaking Italian poorly and trying to explain myself.

Hi Knell63,
I visited your art blog and I am impressed by your art! I especially like the "umbrian alphabet" because I also used to look at google earth and discover various exciting figures there. I did not try looking for letters however. It's been a while since I last used google earth though.
You know what, that used to be my dream too ...making a living by painting and writing, that is. Alas I never made it there because I went into teaching and research instead. I'm only doing art again now that I retired. However, I am more into photography and writing.
