When you look at my picture, you see someone pretty average, I'm sure. But, like every other human being on the planet, I have an individual story to tell. The most important thing is the fact that I've accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. God is the center of my life, the "hub" of my life's wheel. Everything else proceeds from this. I work in an office during the day, along with thousands. Though I am thankful for gainful employment, the more interesting parts of my life are outside of work. I imagine many people's lives work this way.There are two things I have loved since I was little. The first is music, especially singing. I have been in a couple of small ministry groups and enjoyed both. Mostly, I have been involved in choirs at my church and,, most recently, at a local community college. I also love listening to music. My favorite is Contemporary Christian music. Stylistically, I enjoy anything from classical to (some) alternative. Being an experimental person, I was sampling music on Yahoo and found out that I liked something called "trance." Uh, sometimes, feel as if I am in one, but that's beside the point. I'm innocent! I was just looking for something that reminded me we were in a new century. Writing is also a big love of mine. I actually have a degree in journalism, but I "fell in between the cracks", so to speak. But I have attempted several novels and have some small articles and poetry published different places. My main form of writing as of late is found on blogs and sims (interactive writing groups), mainly modeled after "Star Trek." Yes, you are talking to a science fiction afficianado, as well-movies, tv and books. No, I have never dressed up like a Vulcan or a Klingon female or gone to a science fiction convention. I almost did, though.I enjoy learning new things, as well as interacting with friends and family in "real-time." Also, I probably sit at the computer too much, but manage to live a responsible life.
