I just moved to the US when I got married to an American last March 2009. Prior to migration, I'd been a working single parent (with 2 kids from a previous marriage) employed in an American owned manufacturing firm back in Calamba,Laguna,Philippines as a Customer Service/Demand Planner.

CurrentIy, I am taking much time to keep up with my fine-looking husband. My morning routine consist of; getting up before 6am, cooking breakfast, attending to my kids, getting them dress up and making sure they had eat enough before going and walking them off to school.

While I am not a writer by nature, but, I have a great passion for writing, I am giving this an effort to develop my hidden endowment.

Maudine, welcome to America AND to HubPages! You commented on one of my Prison Pen Pal hubs but could not have known that years ago (1985) I was--after my 4th divorce--corresponding with 37 Filipina ladies. After all, I reasoned, I wasn't doing all that well with the American-born ladies. It soon narrowed down to one (her name was Lourdes), and we very likely WOULD have married eventually...if I hadn't met my 5th (American born) wife during that time.

Welcome to Hubpages. I'm still somewhat of a newbie myself. Thank you for sharing. Glad to be your fan.

Thanks for the comment...To answer your question-Yes, that letter was for my son who is 27 months now. One day I will give it to him... Just from what Ive read-if you have two children-and worked as a Customer Service Demand Planner/you must be a strong woman as well. Some days I think i am strong, brave, fearless, others----well...I guess we all have our days when we feel like children hiding under the covers :)

How do you like living in the US?
