misfit on HubPages
After all my years I'm still a misfit, not looking for the elusive million, nor that frantic little niche which everyone else seems to be chasing in a society as alien to me as the atmosphere on Mars. I get by with a little painting here, a spot of DIY there - and being in ’retirement’, I happily have my State Pension to rely on. This allows me time at last to pursue my real interest - writing, for the pen is also mightier than the brush or the power drill ... that is providing it has something valuable to write about.
