Hi there,

My name is Nikki Uglow and I'm a 44 year old fully- qualified and experienced Dyslexia Support Teacher based near Coventry. I have 20 years teaching experience in both the State and Private sector and I'm passionate about teaching dyslexic kids in a way in which they can learn best. I have a BSc Hons degree, Post Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties.

I have taught Primary school classes, Headed up a Learning Support Dept in a private scool(Later renamed the Learning Success Dept for obvious reasons) and home tutored hundreds of children from 5 to 16 years of age.

I have taught literally hundreds of students to read and to multiply in a matter of weeks, when the schools had shrugged their shoulders and given up trying. In my experience, It's not what you do, but the very precise way that you do it and frame it up, that makes the difference!
