I look after all aspects of TurboCAD for the UK market running exhibitions, demonstrations and training days up and down the country as well as giving advice and general support. My first job after school was standing in a line of other draftsman working on engineering drawings, just the simple stuff. I toyed with the idea of training to be an architect, but wanted a broader drawing / design career, so I went to art school. Within a few years of leaving Ravensbourne College of Art and Design I was showing paintings and drawings in several central London galleries and had silkscreen prints and etchings published by CCA and several other publishers. I have had one man exhibitions of my paintings in major cities on three continents and for about ten years that was my only income. I also worked as an illustrator for various magazines and then moved across into publishing ending up as a college lecture in DTP. Somewhere between it all I went back to university to take another degree, this time in Technology, (Greenwich). While I still paint and exhibit when I get time, nearly all my time at present is taken up with TurboCAD. The people I meet and the projects that they are engaged on are so varied that I’m sure I’m going to be happily busy for some time.
