An Educated Creature

My Pappy was the original me poorQpine. There was nobody like GPaps. He was a very special fellow and "How I loved him so". GPaps passed in the spring we thinks. He went off one night and never returned. He was getting up there in the years, found hisself getting grouchy and stiff.

Weren't nobody could stand to be around him much anymore. He had taken to biting and snarling all the time and we all just sort of kept a comfortable distance. We loved him just the same.

I was especially fond of GPaps. I learned so much from him. I made him a promise back in the Autumn. He had been teaching me the ways of the world. He showed me these HubPages and he showed me how to type. He taught me how to access a computer and he asked me if I would carry on his tradition of writing. I vowed to him I would.

Then the guy we used to sneak in on, using his computer, he up and changed the windows. He used to leave one cracked so we had no trouble getting in. Now his new windows are all locked down. Energy efficient and all and good for him but it has made it hard to get online for me.

I was about to give up when I found this friend who loves animals and lets me use there laptop whenever I want to. So here I am keeping my promise to Gpaps, God rest his soul. Hope you will enjoy me as much as you loved ol GPaps.

I am an animal at heart. Don't care to follow the rules made by humans but know that I have to do what it takes to survive. I am rather playful but if my quills get ruffled best keep a distance. I love to laugh and I love to spark other critters to think about things they would rather ignore. They dubbed me, me poorQpine!

My favorite time of day is night time if that makes any sense. I live in a tree, my legs are short and my belly is mostly round. One of my favorite past times is chewing things, guess that 's a rodent for you.

I found this HubPages while visiting a night owl I know and decided I had some things I wanted to share with the world so I joined this group of writers.

I think all creatures should speak up and stop holding everything inside. If you agree with me on that, I invite you to join HubPages too.
