readingteacher on HubPages

I'm a retired 1st grade teacher who would like to share information about how others can successfully teach little ones to read. Listening to your child read at home and trying to help them can be a frustrating experience if you've never received any tips.....it's not hard at all, take a few minutes to research a few strategies and you and the child you are teaching will be happier and enjoy reading together!

I'm new to hubpages and am finding it to be quite interesting.....I'll be sharing some other info that I think others may find valuable as well....
