Writer, movie fan, blogger, etc. I've been using Hubpages for over 1.5 years now. I've had low stats through most of the time I've been here.  It wasn't until a few months ago, before Halloween that I read up on tips from the Hubpages forum on increasing hits. 

I made some adjustments and my stats began increasing gradually.  It went from 0-20'ish per day since the time I started hubbing to around 200 hits per day from the time I began implementing what I learned.

I made 3 key adjustments that helped out the most:

1) Wrote more hubs with the right keywords

2) Used Social Marker

3) Build a small network of backlinks with the Free Traffic System

Let's see how I can feed my stats addiction and drive my hits by year's end.
