I was no different then you. I hated going to work, sitting in traffic headed for a job to punch a clock.

I was working for some one else and making them rich. I was not getting paid what I was worth. It sucked!

I was disgusted when my boss, told me what to do with my job. I knew how to do my job, it was one he had not ever done. Who the hell was he? He was just some kid who's parents put him through school. He had never worked a day in his life and was trying to tell me how to do my job?

When I was in the military, I wasn't a very good follower. I never liked being presented to be like every one else with same clothes and having the same haircut. I did what I had to do and counted the days until I could get out. I could hardly wait.

The Army definitely was not for me.

I was living for someone else, trying to impress my friends and family. They were proud but I was miserable. I learned alot of valuable lessons there and am glad for the experience. The commercial said I would be all that I could be. I kept thinking to myself if this is all I can be just shoot me now!

As a civilian I got restless cooking 50-dollar steaks at a restaurant that were being sold by the hundreds per hour. I was making only 10 bucks an hour feeling there had to be a better way.

I got real tired of it...

knowing a corporation was making tons of money off my blood sweat and tears. My recipes were being put on a menu but no credit was ever given to me. I still enjoy cooking but not commercially. Kitchen work is much more difficult than people realize. One hundred hour work weeks during the holidays while being on salary. Ten dollars an hour average might even be stretching the truth after taxes.

I heard there was money in sales.

I quit that simple cooking job and I went into sales. I found it difficult. I did not want to be like everyone else who put people into positions that would hurt and not help them. Just to make my company wealthier while they paid me chump change to hammer phones?

I was cold calling strangers that were supposed leads, trying to convince them to buy my product. I hated it! I was repulsed with the dishonesty and greed.

I knew what they needed was not what I was selling. It was quite evident as I kept getting hung up on. It did not matter what I tried to sell. I did direct sales selling chinese junk out of a bag walking to the streets. I sold cars, motorcycles and ATVs. I moved on to car sales and then mortgages. Even when I was "HOT" it seemed like the companies I worked for were always screwing me out of my hard earned commissions.

I found that this "career" was not working for me either. Then...

I decided to try and work for myself

I began my quest.

I paid for programs that did not work. I searched for the best one I could find. I went through many different ones. They all promised I could get rich over night and I never made a dime.

I joined a couple of MLMs and I never even generated a single lead. Everyone already heard of my over 30 year old great legal plan and was not interested. I made no money placing "tiny classified ads" , never did get that house with "no money down".

Yeah , I was an infomercial Junky. I too did NOT "get so damned rich!" My family and friends got tired of hearing about my opportunities and kept calling me a dreamer. Pyramid Schemes don't work. When was I going to grow up and get a real job?
