I am a Christian wife and mommy.  I spend most days just hanging out with my family, and I love it.  I also work part time as a surgical RN.  Before joining HubPages, I hadn't written anything since college (unless grocery lists and to-do lists count)!  So my writing is pretty rough around the edges, but I am enjoying the new challenge. 

I like reading and writing about ways to save money.  My husband and I have a goal of paying off our house as fast as we can, so any extra money we can scrape up goes toward that goal.  I'm always looking for new creative money saving ideas!  We still have a long way to go, but God is leading us toward our goal of complete financial freedom.

I also really enjoy home decor/improvement projects and all sorts of crafting.  I always have an ongoing list of project ideas rolling around in my head!  With each project I complete, I love my home even more.
