I'm an internet bookseller and freelancer. Born and raised in New England, I'm now in the deep south writing various information articles for an online company. I'm looking to expand my markets. I'd love to meet writers and make some friends here!
I love women's issues, and articles on home and personal safety, self-help, assertiveness training, mental health, resiliency, repairing things and saving money. Anything informative is fine with me, though.
I've written a little poetry and some really terrible short stories...lol. Not my genre. I like essays and human interest stories, writing columns ( I worked at a small newspaper for 4 years) and any kind of teaching articles.
I'm outgoing and I love all kinds of people. I love to entertain. Also love photography, nature-woods, mountains, water and camping- singing, dancing and doing any kind of artwork (my newest craze is jewelry making). I like to go to the theater, movies, museums, out to eat, and just about anywhere. I love cards and board games.
Learning is one of my biggest passions. Went back to school and graduated with a BA last year in Int. Studies - Psych, Soc and Creative Writing.I'm always taking classes and trying new things.
I'm a spiritual person and I need solitude as well as people. I work at home and that gives me more alone time. I enjoy to read, watch design shows and movies, and relax-it is an art form I am still learning!
