Dr. Mandal is a native New Yorker and
completed her undergraduate degree in
Biology at New York University in 1993.
After earning her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Mandal remained in New York, where she completed her internship and residency at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center in 2001.
Dr. Mandal completed a research
fellowship in evidenced-based health care at the University of Oxford, England from 1999-2000. She has been in medical practice for seven years and is an attending physician and clinical instructor at NYU School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, she teaches and supervises medical residents and medical students. She has admitting privileges at NYU Langone Medical Center and is the medical director for the NYU College of Nursing Faculty Practice.
After working in various healthcare sectors, Dr. Mandal envisioned her own practice in 2006. She loves the challenges and rewards of a solo-practice and is grateful for the diversity and insight that her patients bring to the practice.
