Being an author, mother, wife and entrepreneur has its challenges.  Sumaiyah has written articles for various periodic publications, and she is creator and editor-in-chief of the Beta Chapter Newsletter, published bi-monthly.  Sumaiyah has participated in national writing competitions, often placing among the top three winners.  One of her joys is mentoring university students on writing, which she is frequently invited to do.
