t.keeley on HubPages

Obviously my surname is Keeley. It is an anglicised version of O'Caollaidhe, a gaelic tribe once found [I believe] in Waterford, Ireland. The name dates back to ancient times and is possibly one of the most prestigious on the island.

As a result it is in my nature to love all things Irish. I have a strong love for my family's native country, even though I am an American. I write, arrange, and perform music with my [go figure] irish folk-rock band, Bote. I play different instruments, including the bodhran, piano, concertina, pennywhistle, and saxophone.

Well its been 23 years scince I left home and everbody I knew back then are either here or globe trotting LOL

However I would see if there is a branch of your church or a sim..there and e-mail and ask them to help you. I lived in Cork city for about 15 years and Galway is another one..west coast is the best. Do you play a musical instrument or sing? but I think the christian churches are your best bet or go to an Irsih chat site?

My mother was English, Dad was Irish and I was born in Scotland....so i,m a mutt Lol..Actually mom`s parents were Irish and lived in Yorkshire...

Hope this helps? Mike
