TheSilly1 is just that. A silly guy looking for anything and everything to do. Silly things that makes him smile include vacations, investing, Disc Golf and ultimate frisbee.

TheSilly1 was born and raised in the Interior of British Columbia, Canada. As a Canadian he's a huge fan of anything and everything Canadian (except plastic garbage bags). This includes the great outdoors and of course hockey!

It goes without saying that being from Canada he likes to travel and usually to a warm destination. However, this gets expensive (which is silly) so travelling on a budget is usually a top priority. This includes collecting as many points through air miles and other great cheap travel ideas as possible.

Recently in an attempt to retire sooner The Silly1 has started learning how to invest. His blog Rule1blog documents the journeys of $1000 into $1 million.
