One of the most deceptive and disturbing aspects of working online is the so-called gurus that pretend to spew forth knowledge that you can't live without. They're everywhere. They are extremely demanding and make you feel like dirt next to their power and abilities. They charge exorbitant sums of money because, "they're worth it." If you fail it's your fault. Many of these gurus will also say anything to win you over. Making a sale and getting things done is their highest priorities, no matter how it's accomplished. If they have to come back and help someone well, that's someone else's job. They are on to the next sale (victim) and can't be bothered with someone who doesn't understand what's going on. They also have an ability to separate you from hundreds if not thousands of your personal dollars. They lead you to believe that you have a leader who you can trust and follow. But because they have so many people that need somebody like that (some call them “sheeples”), it becomes impossible for them to support them all and so they usually support none of them, leaving a wake of destruction behind them.
