trooper22 on HubPages

    I have been writing in one form or another most of my adult life.  I love to tell stories and have always enjoyed reading.  In April 07 my wife and I decided that I should make it a career, so I decided to leave a dead end job and go back to school, and that has brought me here.  I hope to share my work with an audience to test the waters as it were.  Friends and relatives are great, but I would love to hear all the comments plus or minus from folks that love to read.  I hope that you enjoy my work, if not please tell me why, and how I may improve.  Thanks for visiting.

Trooper22 is a dual purpose tag that I created originally as an e-mail address.  22 is a reference to Catch 22 a favorite book, as well as a unit I was in called 2nd Squadron of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2/2 Cav).  Trooper is the name for Cavalry soldiers the world over.

Born and raised in the great City of Chicago

Military: 17 years in the Army, and Army reserve on 3 separate enlistments.

Served on the East/West German border 81/82, the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia. (Camp Able Sentry) 95, and finally Iraq (OIF 1)03/04.
