I was trained in medicine and dentistry at Boston University. After practicing dentistry for a few years in the Army and privately, I became more interested in Ayurvedic and holistic medicine. In the 80's I went to India and became an initiated brahmin in the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya. Upon returning to the US, I helped to open an ashram in North Miami. I also became interested in Vedic Astrology and mastered that subject after some years. I was actively counseling as an astrologer for about 10 years with keen.com. My main focus at this point in my life is writing and, of course holistic health and vedic astrology. From time to time, I do write on marketing and blogging tips. Last year, I decided to become a loan officer, but the market folded. However, I did learn a lot and I will be writing some articles about the mortgage industry, because it is a hot topic.
