Drawing since the age of five, I had a dream of being one of the greatsest cartoonists ever....still have that dream. I've created many projects to date but have not published them. I realize that I need to dig further into this potential in order to be a success. As a child I stayed up late (and I do mean late) drawing whatever my limitless little mind could dream up. From some character with a big head, big hands and feet, to monsters that Who Nose? (pun intended) looked like what. But then all my talent seemed to have flourished when that limitless little mind of mine birthed Who Nose? because I always wanted to create a steady, ongoing comic strip that I could give all kinds of flips and turns and just be free as I wanted to. (You may catch Nose imitating his favorite superhero one day, then trapped in a giant hair weave the next!) After many failed attempts to get this strip syndicated, I quit. That's right...quit. All aspiring cartoonists listen up: don't you ever quit like I did. It only brings more pain because all the time you spend walking around with your head down you can spend self-publishing your toon or working your way towards whatever dream you have. Wanna know what's gotten me this far? My lovely wife. Every single time I feel like giving up, she's always....and I mean ALWAYS giving me some type of encouraging words so I'll continue to have a leg to stand on. Sometimes she'll ask me: "Did you draw today?" or "When is the last time you drew anything..?" or "What about Nose?" which lets me know that I need to get with it. (Thank God for wives!) I attended Commercial Business College form 1991 to 1993. I have to be honest: It was cool but it wasn't what I was looking for. We mostly did the technical stuff like lettering and layout which wasn't my M.O. at all. I was born an artist and grew to be a cartoonist. I'm a 35 year old kid at heart so what can I say? Anyway, enough about me for now, you'll learn more later.
