If you "really" want to learn how to dance salsa, then here's your answer, straight and to the point. Make a committment that you really want to learn and then find a teacher with whom you feel comfortable. Be careful in selecting an instructor since the overwhelming majority of instructors are not trained educators and know very little about teaching. The qualified instructor will focus his/her energy on teaching basic skills rather than on teaching new moves each session. Adding additional floors to the Leaning Tower of Pizza will never result in a structurally sound building. Only the repair of the foundation will do that. So, work on your salsa foundation and remember that nobody ever becomes proficient at anything without mastering the basics.
