If you work hard, you create your own luck. Louis Pasteur said that "Chance favors the prepared mind". So you study all you can about your subject, think about it, dream about it, talk to other people in the field about your subject. Before long you'll find that you're an expert in the subject. Once you do that, you'll see opportunities that other people miss. You'll take advantage of them. Whereas other people will see it as luck, you'll know that it was your hard work and preparation that enabled you to see opportunities where others saw only obstacles. Always remember, chance favors the prepared mind.

There is only one way to achieve goals - decide what and why you want something, and make that decision into a goal.

A goal is defined as being measurable, that is there is an amount, or defined quantity or quality, plus a date of achievement attached. Without this a goal is not a goal.

You should also create a plan on how to achieve the goal.

When you do this - there is not much room for luck.

On my blog, lessons of life coaching, I run an e-course on how to achieve goals

It depends on the goal, and your talent. No amount of hard work will overcome the lack of talent. We all have some innate talents - the trick is to discover and develop them to get us to acheivable goals. Read "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell. He documents the huge factor of luck in the success of individuals and groups.

That said, persistence and determination are perhaps the most decisive characteristics of success. For most of us, goals will change as we age in wisdom and gain life experience. Maslow's "Hierarchy of Needs" describes how the perceived goals of people change with experience.

When preparedness meets with opportunity, success is inevitable.

How then do you prepare? You do this by first Identifying what you need to achieve. Set the time frame to achieve it. Then create a plan and a back up plan for it. Work on the plan and work hard at it whether or not you have talent for it. Dream about it. Ask God for it and about it. Talk about it by verbalising either to yourself or to a trusted person. Visualise it and of course expect it to happen.

Set a time frame for it because time and tide wait for no one. The clock never stops ticking, remmember.

Do not wait for it with arms folded but with a prepared mind. When you see it happen you will not miss it because you are fully at alert and expectant.

It is true that opportunity knocks but once but a fully prepared person can knock on opportunity's door by just walking into it.

This is what most people call luck which really is not luck. It is God that makes the impossible possible.

Not really but sometimes

Hard work means you are doing full effort to achieve your goal but there are two types of fate. One is to be changed by your self and an other may never be changed, it's written, If you have power you may change the 1st one but the an other one may never be changed.

Hard work can give you hope of getting your goals but it's not sure that you will get your goal only because of hard work..

Hard work + Creativity + Luck + Visions and many more are required to achieve your goals..

Keep in touch baby
