What is couscous

Once at my friends birthday party we all were eating couscous, my friend told me it was pasta. I was fairly certian it was a grain (like rice). Months later the subject came back up and I saw on Wikipedia that it was actually pasta and this blew me away because we all made fun of my friend. No one around me can really agree on just what Couscous really is, I know it seems like an unusual question but it has been eating at the back of my head. thanks.

I wrote a Hub about couscous, and like all pasta, it's made from a grain.

couscous is a versatile pasta, made out of tiny grains of dough that are steamed. It has come from Morocco and northern Algeria.
