Who can resist the sweet meat of a ripe banana? The shape itself is utterly sexy and just peeling and sharing one with your lover can be a sensually arousing experience in and of itself. Bananas are included in Indian offerings to the fertility gods and in Asia that banana was thought to be the food of the sages.
Bananas are loaded with potassium, magnesium and B vitamins which are all necessary for sex hormone production. It also contains chelating minerals and the bromelain enzyme, said to enhance the male libido.
For a romantic treat freeze bananas and then dip them in hot fudge sauce to feed to your lover. The double whammy of the banana and the chocolate is sure to entice and arouse both of you. You might want to add some whipped cream to that as well, no telling where that could end! Try serving Banana Foster as a yummy dessert at your next romantic dinner.
- 3 ripe bananas peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- French Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 1/2 Tablespoons rum or almond extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Melt butter over medium heat in a large deep skillet. Stir in sugar, rum, vanilla and cinnamon. When mixture begins to bubble add bananas and walnuts in pan. Cook until bananas are hot, about one to two minutes. Spoon over French vanilla ice cream and serve immediately.
