A Beautiful Wedding Under the Shadows of "The Super Moon"

Family and friends gathered for a spectacular wedding ceremony under the magnificent Super Moon. On Sunday, the thirteenth of November two thousand sixteen, Darlena Bailey and Raymond Edwards were married. This date was also special to onlookers throughout the world. Charlie Rose of #CBS This Morning explained it as, "The extra bright Super Moon, has been lighting up the sky all over the world. The full moon has not been this close to the earth since 1948. It will reach the peak of its full phase at 8:52 am eastern but the stronger gravitational pull is amplifying the seasonal king tide and creating heighten flood risk in places like south Florida." It was still a very special day for Darlena and Raymond, who became husband and wife; as well as a rare and unique experience for residents on earth to see the #Super Moon which was captivating and intriguing.

During the wedding ceremony, Brother Joseph Johnson conducted the ceremony which was held at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Camden, New Jersey. Powerful words from the Bible were shared during the talk. Brother Johnson, spoke about how Adam, was given his wife Eve, who was created from a rib taken from the man's side at Genesis 2:18-25. The speaker continued to explain that because the woman Eve was taken from her husband Adam, "She was not there for him to beat up because if he did, it would be like beating himself up. Give your wife what she deserves, proper respect." Brother Johnson, received laughter from the audience as he expressed how, "I thought I had to solve my wife's problems when she came to me but she just wanted me to listen. To show love by listening." He went on to admonish Raymond and other husbands in the audience to be like Jesus, who constantly showed love for people just like his Heavenly Father Jehovah. "We want to be husbands to gain deep respect," explained Johnson.

The talk was then focused toward the role of Darlena as Raymond's wife. "The wife's role should be honorable. If it is not, the results is confusion and unhappiness. Her cooperation with him is not competition. Based on Ephesians 5:33, each one of you 'must love his wife as himself. A wife should have deep respect for her husband. Husbands has to earn that deep respect by how he treats his bride. Are you showing her love by your actions? Are you concerned about your happiness over your wife's. We must be selfless because you really love them." The concluding words before the wedding vows were powerful. Brother Johnson spoke about how husbands and wives should do simple things for each other because it shows consideration and love. "When you do these things it may seem small and when you include Jehovah, it makes it a three fold cord. Studying the Bible with your children and your bride draws you closer to Jehovah," said Johnson. It was now time for the presentation of the wedding vows between Raymond and Darlena.

The Wedding Vows Were Pronounced

Such awe inspiring words were mentioned to Raymond Lee Edwards, by Brother Johnson as the groom stated; "I Raymond take you Darlena, to love and cherish in accordance with the divine law set forth in the holy scriptures for as long as we live on earth according to God's marital arrangement." It was then Darlena, the bride's turn to repeat those compelling words. The wedding vow ceremony was completed as Darlena Renee Bailey, became wife to Raymond Lee Edwards. They sealed it with a kiss. Brother Johnson presented to the congregation for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Edwards. Now it was time for their wedding reception. Family, friends and guests of the couple, gathered at The Camden County Boathouse, located in Pensauken, NJ.

The Bright Moon Flickered Over the Wedding Reception Location

After the wedding ceremony, family, friends and guest arrived at Camden County Boathouse, located at 7050 N. Park Drive, Pensauken, New Jersey from 5 to 10pm. The sun had started to abscond in the sky as the full Super Moon radiated in the sky. Darlena Renee Bailey, had now become the wife of Raymond Lee Edwards. They were officially a family of six. Darlena's, three children and Raymond's son constituted a union that had been witnessed by Jehovah God and numerous other people. It was now time for Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Darlena Edwards, to be introduced again at their wedding reception. The bridal party which included Mr. and Mrs. Mo and Wanisha Bey and her sister Jaleesa Carter. Darlena and Raymond's adorable four children also entered and were a part of the bridal party as well.

After the bride and groom entered and were seated, delicious food was served in the family style. The reception was catered by Vitarellis of Oaklyn, NJ. Danielle Arrucci, served as manager of the staff who delivered such sumptuous dishes as salmon, chicken, beef as well as a variety of delectable vegetables. Even the kids had their own menu of pizza and French Fries. Gary, who has been a bartender for more than twenty years served an open bar with a variety of wines and beers along with other beverages. After each guest was satisfied from the abundance of delicious food, it was time to dance and eliminate some of the extra pounds we had gained. The DJ was excellent as he not only performed a few songs on his guitar but played an array of R&B, jazz and some of the best oldies. There was also a dance instructor for line dances as well.

The bride and groom danced with their guest as they continued to associate and thank their guests attending. It was eventually time for the cake to be cut by Darlena and Raymond. They graciously fed pieces to each other without incident. An abundance of desserts were served such as cheesecake, a variety of candies, cakes and cookies. The evening started to draw to a close as Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, started their life together as husband and wife. It was encouraging to witness this event because once again, this is what our Grand Creator wanted for man and woman, to marry and become husband and wife. The marital arrangement was created by our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God. It is so inspirational when we see couples partake of this beautiful arrangement.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. We pray that Darlena and Raymond will live happily together for the rest of their lives along with their four children. May Jehovah God, continue to look favorably upon this family.
